Hello! I'm Mr.Dumb!!

         Be the Dumbest!

From a young age, we are always taught to be the best of the best, fastest of the fastest and smartest of the smartest. Dude! That's a lot of pressure! So, we never aim for the second place in a race or some sort of competition. Well, an Amitastic person who wants to conquer life knows that in certain situations it's beneficial to be the dumbest person in the room. Surrounding yourself with people who are much more experienced and knowledgeable than you is a great way to learn more and grow in your life.

When it comes to my group of friends, I'm the best at doing what I'm supposed to do. But I'm the absolute dumbest when it comes to everything else. It's just like me and my group of friends are in a boat, each possessing a paddle, unique that no one else knows how to handle. We are rowing in unison towards the shores of successπŸ˜‰.

Well, being the dumbest person in your group or as most people like to call it , your 'gang', doesn't make you a stupid person. It means that you're smart enough to surround yourself with people possessing qualities which you don't posses. In a way, it also means checking your ego and being okay with the fact that you aren't the best at something.

Whenever my gang is due to give a presentation, we team up strong. We have a meeting wherein every member has something to contribute to the conversation based on their area of expertise. They give their ideas, I give mine and then finally we sum them all up and give our presentation.

There seems to be this universal fear of looking stupid or sounding dumb if you surround yourself with smarter people. But here's a question. Who's dumber ? A person who pretends to know everything, or the person who doesn't and asks questions?
Wasting an opportunity to learn something new seems pretty dumb to me. I know it's difficult to let go off the idea that people may view you as stupid. At the end of the day, we all do care to some extent what other people think about us. But what's more important? Doing a good job or saving a face?

All I am trying to say is that you need to be around people who challenge you, intimidate you and who teach you new things. Placing yourself in the right situations is important.
So go ahead, be dumb, but don't hurt yourself. Don't play with stray dogs or hold things which are too hot. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Okay Bye!!
